The Second International Conference on the Future of the Book

Using WebCT for Information Access in the Digital Age

Portia Diaz-Martin, Basil Martin.

Students are working and learning in the virtual environment. The development of course management software, such as WebCT has made virtual learning a reality. As instruction/reference librarians, it is apparent that the academic success of students depends on the librarian's approach and methods to teaching and providing students and faculty access to electronic resources. This workshop will address issues in providing library instruction through WebCT and provide demos for promoting virtual library resources and services to faculty and students.
